NEW YORK (AP) Comments on the Cincinnati Bengals by the AP Pro32 panel (ranking in parentheses):
CINCINNATI BENGALS (22)
Chris Berman (ESPN, 25) - Tough task to beat Steelers when Pittsburgh needs game.
Clifton Brown (Sporting News, 24) - Marvin Lewis is 1-10 at home against Steelers, and Sunday night loss really hurt.
Cris Collinsworth (NBC Sports, 27)
Rich Gannon (CBS Sports/SiriusXM NFL Radio, 21) - Starting to lose faith in a group that has lost three in a row ... time to start pumping the brakes.
Bob Glauber (Newsday, 24) - Bengals lost to Stillers at home to fall to 0-6 the last two years against Pittsburgh and Baltimore. Can't win the division that way.
Rick Gosselin (Dallas Morning News, 17) - The Bengals have posted sacks in an NFL-best 32 consecutive games.
Clark Judge (CBSSports.com, 20) - As long as the Bengals can't beat Baltimore and Pittsburgh - and they lost their last nine to them - they can't be taken seriously as a playoff contender.
Ira Kaufman (Tampa Tribune, 21) - In a month full of October surprises, they keep finding ways to lose.
Pat Kirwan (SiriusXM NFL Radio/CBSSports.com, 19) - A year ago this team beat every non-playoff team on their schedule, but recently they are losing to those teams. A three-game losing streak is hard to explain, but they certainly aren't headed in the right direction.
John Lynch (Fox Sports, 23) - Back-to-back division losses as this team on the slide.
Alex Marvez (Foxsports.com, 18) - With a bye this week, the Bengals will enter a Nov. 4 home game against Denver having gone 0-for-3 in October.
Dan Pompei (Chicago Tribune, 22) - They will have two full weeks to stew about their three-game losing streak and see if they can't find out what has gone wrong.
