NEW YORK (AP) Comments on the Buffalo Bills by the AP Pro32 panel (ranking in parentheses):
BUFFALO BILLS (24)
Chris Berman (ESPN, 27) - Been through the desert with a horse with no name.
Clifton Brown (Sporting News, 27) - With the season they've had, they're tied for first in AFC East. Wacky.
Cris Collinsworth (NBC Sports, 25)
Rich Gannon (CBS Sports/SiriusXM NFL Radio, 22) - They are 8-21 when Ryan Fitzpatrick throws an interception. Need I say more?
Bob Glauber (Newsday, 24) - Chan Gailey's move to keep Buffalo out west after a shellacking in San Francisco pays off in gritty OT win over Arizona. A little lucky, sure, but they made some of their own luck, too.
Rick Gosselin (Dallas Morning News, 19) - Ryan Fitzpatrick hasn't thrown a touchdown pass in his last two games, nor has he thrown for more than 165 yards. But the 3-3 Bills split those two games for a share of first place in the AFC East.
Clark Judge (CBSSports.com, 23) - I don't know what to make of the Bills anymore, which means they fit right in with the rest of their division.
Ira Kaufman (Tampa Tribune, 24) - When all else fails, the Bills can run the football darned well.
Pat Kirwan (SiriusXM NFL Radio/CBSSports.com, 24) - The pass rush came alive, but it was against the Cardinal offensive line that gave up 17 sacks in the previous two games. They are coming off a tough two-game road trip and get Tennessee at home.
John Lynch (Fox Sports, 22) - A quality Win in Arizona after being pummeled by the 49er's the previous week.
Alex Marvez (Foxsports.com, 25) - Defensive end Mario Williams (two sacks) finally showed a pulse against Arizona, but the Bills are still not playing well overall.
Dan Pompei (Chicago Tribune, 23) - Beating the Cardinals on the road was impressive, but the Bills still have a lot to prove.
