NEW YORK (AP) Comments on the Denver Broncos by the AP Pro32 panel (ranking in parentheses):

Chris Berman (ESPN, 9) - Nobody remembers Peyton Manning didn't play last year.

Clifton Brown (Sporting News, 6) - Peyton Manning looks better every week, a scary thought for opponents.

Cris Collinsworth (NBC Sports, 5)

Rich Gannon (CBS Sports/SiriusXM NFL Radio, 10) - Winners of four of their last five, Manning has them believing.

Bob Glauber (Newsday, 10) - Peyton Manning putting together an MVP season ... again. He already has a record four MVP awards in his trophy case.

Rick Gosselin (Dallas Morning News, 9) - Peyton Manning has thrown three touchdown passes in each of his last five games for the AFC West-leading Broncos.

Clark Judge (CBSSports.com, 7) - The Broncos' schedule makes them look like a first-round bye waiting to happen.

Ira Kaufman (Tampa Tribune, 9) - Mr. Manning will show Mr. Newton a few things Sunday.

Pat Kirwan (SiriusXM NFL Radio/CBSSports.com, 4) - The Manning offense is getting better each week and the defense is right behind the offense. When they force an opponent into a one dimensional pass attack Elvis Dumervil and Von Miller look like Dwight Freeney and Robert Mathis in their prime.

John Lynch (Fox Sports, 7) - The Broncos are getting better as a team every week. The same can be said for their QB and that has their opponents nervous.

Alex Marvez (Foxsports.com, 7) - Peyton Manning threw three touchdown passes for a fifth consecutive game, but another statistical trio - three sacks by outside linebacker Von Miller - also helped spur Denver's 31-23 victory over Cincinnati.

Dan Pompei (Chicago Tribune, 9) - While everyone has been marveling at Peyton Manning, their defense continues to improve.
