NEW YORK (AP) Comments on the Kansas City Chiefs by the AP Pro32 panel (ranking in parentheses):

---

KANSAS CITY CHIEFS (31)

Chris Berman (ESPN, 30) - Hoping for the mighty Quinn.

Clifton Brown (Sporting News, 30) - Romeo Crennel is going with Brady Quinn at quarterback, but that won't be cure-all.

Cris Collinsworth (NBC Sports, 31)

Rich Gannon (CBS Sports/SiriusXM NFL Radio, 31) - Can't imagine the change at QB from Matt Cassel to Brady Quinn has Chiefs fans all fired up.

Bob Glauber (Newsday, 32) - Romeo Crennel gives Brady Quinn a chance to turn the season around. The coach shouldn't hold his breath.

Rick Gosselin (Dallas Morning News, 31) - Coach Romeo Crennel hopes to give his slumping Chiefs a jolt this week by changing quarterbacks, sitting embattled Matt Cassel and starting Brady Quinn.

Clark Judge (CBSSports.com, 32) - OK, so the Chiefs are only two games behind Denver and San Diego. They just named Brady Quinn their starting quarterback. Time to start preparing those eulogies for this year's team.

Ira Kaufman (Tampa Tribune, 32) - Perhaps the sight of the dreaded silver and black will shake them from a season-long lethargy.

Pat Kirwan (SiriusXM NFL Radio/CBSSports.com, 31) - Twenty-one turnovers in six games, and a fan base that is very angry.

John Lynch (Fox Sports, 31) - Who would have thunk it? The Chiefs at No. 31.

Alex Marvez (Foxsports.com, 32) - Let's see if a bye week did any good for the lowly Chiefs on Sunday against visiting Oakland.

Dan Pompei (Chicago Tribune, 31) - Going to Brady Quinn is the right move for Romeo Crennel.
