NEW YORK (AP) Comments on the Miami Dolphins by the AP Pro32 panel (ranking in parentheses):

---

MIAMI DOLPHINS (15)

Chris Berman (ESPN, 19) - 4 and 4 at midway, way ahead of projections.

Clifton Brown (Sporting News, 15) - Joe Philbin has done a fine coaching job. They are competitive every week.

Cris Collinsworth (NBC Sports, 14)

Rich Gannon (CBS Sports/SiriusXM NFL Radio, 13) - Some uncharacteristic breakdowns with their defense especially on third down.

Bob Glauber (Newsday, 18) - Ryan Tannehill went toe-to-toe with rookie draft classmate Andrew Luck, but comes up just short. Even so, another meaningful step in the right direction for the promising QB.

Rick Gosselin (Dallas Morning News, 19) - Rookie QB Ryan Tannehill hasn't thrown an interception in four games covering 98 passes.

Clark Judge (CBSSports.com, 16) - Ryan Tannehill is playing so well that finally, mercifully, people are talking more about him than his wife.

Ira Kaufman (Tampa Tribune, 15) - Can't seem to win the close ones.

Pat Kirwan (SiriusXM NFL Radio/CBSSports.com, 16) - Ryan Tannehill's game against the Colts last week was overshadowed by Andrew Luck's record breaking performance. Miami is a tough out and has two winnable games coming up.

John Lynch (Fox Sports, 13) - The Dolphins fell short vs. the Colts but are an impressive team.

Alex Marvez (Foxsports.com, 15) - Andrew Luck 1, Ryan Tannehill 0. Miami's defense was skewered for a rookie passing-record 433 yards in last Sunday's 23-20 loss.

Dan Pompei (Chicago Tribune, 15) - They lost a tough one Sunday, but will have a chance to get better in their next two against the Titans and Bills.
