NEW YORK (AP) Comments on the Miami Dolphins by the AP Pro32 panel (ranking in parentheses):
MIAMI DOLPHINS (19)
Chris Berman (ESPN, 22) - Sprinkler system spurs Dolphins to win.
Clifton Brown (Sporting News, 22) - Ryan Tannehill is tough and talented, which bodes well for future.
Cris Collinsworth (NBC Sports, 18)
Rich Gannon (CBS Sports/SiriusXM NFL Radio, 18) - Nice win at home against the Seahawks, amazing what they can do when they don't turn it over.
Bob Glauber (Newsday, 19) - Ryan Tannehill keys a 17-point burst in the final minutes to beat Seattle and keep Miami in the thick of the wildcard chase.
Rick Gosselin (Dallas Morning News, 18) - Ryan Tannehill will be the third rookie quarterback the Patriots have faced this season when New England visits the Dolphins Sunday. New England lost to Russell Wilson and beat Andrew Luck.
Clark Judge (CBSSports.com, 20) - Ryan's Hope? That the real Tannehill was the guy who led those last three drives vs. Seattle.
Ira Kaufman (Tampa Tribune, 21) - Want to prove something to the Patriots? Here's your chance.
Pat Kirwan (SiriusXM NFL Radio/CBSSports.com, 21) - It was good to see that the Fish dug down deep and got a win at home over the Seahawks. The sprinklers going on during the game wasn't to cool off a red-hot offense, just another strange story about the 2012 season.
John Lynch (Fox Sports, 18) - Gutty W for Tannehill and the Dolphins. Tannehill played well against a Seattle defense that has made life miserable on a lot of QB's this season.
Alex Marvez (Foxsports.com, 20) - Maybe the Dolphins can keep the sprinklers on the entire game Sunday against visiting New England. That might be the only way Miami slows down Tom Brady and Co.
Dan Pompei (Chicago Tribune, 20) - Their sprinkler system malfunctioned, but the Ryan Tannehill-led offense worked just fine.
