NEW YORK (AP) Comments on the Atlanta Falcons by the AP Pro32 panel (ranking in parentheses):

---

ATLANTA FALCONS (1)

Chris Berman (ESPN, 1) - Last of the Mohicans.

Clifton Brown (Sporting News, 5) - Undefeated, and that's what matters most. But still not buying them as the best team.

Cris Collinsworth (NBC Sports, 1)

Rich Gannon (CBS Sports/SiriusXM NFL Radio, 1) - Undefeated for a reason, playing complementary football with a passion.

Bob Glauber (Newsday, 1) - Falcons have been cutting it close in recent weeks, relying on some dramatic late-game drama from Matt & Matt (Ryan and Bryant). Might need more of the same on Sunday at Philly.

Rick Gosselin (Dallas Morning News, 1) - The 6-0 Falcons return from their bye looking for their fourth consecutive road victory. But they travel to Philadelphia, where they have lost six in a row. Atlanta's last victory in Philadelphia came in 1988.

Clark Judge (CBSSports.com, 1) - There are few tougher tests than taking on Andy Reid following a bye. We're about to find out about the Falcons.

Ira Kaufman (Tampa Tribune, 1) - Perfect at home, perfect on the road and perfectly ready for Michael Vick.

Pat Kirwan (SiriusXM NFL Radio/CBSSports.com, 1) - They had a bye this week, but they are still the only undefeated team in the league. Some believe they have a number of tough weeks ahead. Until then they stay on top.

John Lynch (Fox Sports, 1) - Everyone is talking about all that is wrong with the 6-0 Falcons and there are some things that need fixing. To me they aren't the best team in the NFL right now, but their 6-0 record has earned them the No. 1 spot.

Alex Marvez (Foxsports.com, 1) - The Falcons hope the imminent return of defensive tackle Corey Peters (foot) can help short one of their few weaknesses so far this season - the run defense.

Dan Pompei (Chicago Tribune, 3) - The offense is lighting up defenses, and it might be capable of improvement if the run game gets moving.
