NEW YORK (AP) Comments on the Atlanta Falcons by the AP Pro32 panel (ranking in parentheses):

---

ATLANTA FALCONS (1)

Chris Berman (ESPN, 1) - The NFL's Bon Jovi - they're halfway there, but NOT living on a prayer.

Clifton Brown (Sporting News, 3) - Undefeated? Yes. Super Bowl threat? Yes. Best team in football? Still not convinced.

Cris Collinsworth (NBC Sports, 1)

Rich Gannon (CBS Sports/SiriusXM NFL Radio, 1) - 8-0 says it all right now. Matt Ryan 30-4 as a starter at home.

Bob Glauber (Newsday, 1) - "Halfway to Perfect" - the completely perfect headline in the Atlanta Journal-Constitution after the Falcons remained unbeaten at the halfway point after grinding out a home win over the Cowboys.

Rick Gosselin (Dallas Morning News, 1) - The 8-0 Falcons head to New Orleans this weekend and WR Julio Jones can't wait to hit the road. He has caught 26 passes in four road games with two 100-yard days and five touchdowns. He has 14 catches, one 100-yard day and no touchdowns in his four home games.

Clark Judge (CBSSports.com, 1) - The record speaks for itself. The biggest obstacle for these guys isn't in the AFC South. It's complacency.

Ira Kaufman (Tampa Tribune, 1) - Halfway to perfection, with Michael Turner just getting started.

Pat Kirwan (SiriusXM NFL Radio/CBSSports.com, 1) - The only undefeated team in the NFL has played well on both sides of the ball and doesn't panic when things are going bad.

John Lynch (Fox Sports, 1) - 8-0 now. The Falcons were tested by the Cowboys, but showed that they have multiple weapons. Coupled with a red-hot QB, they are going to be tough to stop.

Alex Marvez (Foxsports.com, 1) - The Falcons are halfway to perfection following last Sunday night's gritty win over Dallas.

Dan Pompei (Chicago Tribune, 1) - Matt Ryan is stringing together good performance after good performance. And the Falcons don't lose when Ryan is on.
