NEW YORK (AP) Comments on the New York Jets by the AP Pro32 panel (ranking in parentheses):

---

NEW YORK JETS (24)

Chris Berman (ESPN, 23) - A week off to seriously regroup.

Clifton Brown (Sporting News, 23) - Rex Ryan can say whatever he wants, but this is not playoff team.

Cris Collinsworth (NBC Sports, 22)

Rich Gannon (CBS Sports/SiriusXM NFL Radio, 20) - Fresh off their bye with a road trip to Seattle, possibly more Tebow?

Bob Glauber (Newsday, 24) - Mark Sanchez faces his old coach on Sunday in Seattle. The Jets' QB hopes he can put on a show for Pete Carroll. If not, then the Tim Tebow calls grow ever-louder.

Rick Gosselin (Dallas Morning News, 22) - The league average for completion percentage this season is 61.9 percent. The Jets are at 53.1 percent.

Clark Judge (CBSSports.com, 29) - This is the punishment you get when you have no identity. The Jets simply don't know who ... or what ... they are. At least they know they're not "sniffing" the playoffs.

Ira Kaufman (Tampa Tribune, 23) - That frenzied Seattle crowd will be all over Mark Sanchez.

Pat Kirwan (SiriusXM NFL Radio/CBSSports.com, 23) - The running game has some life in it right now which helps stabilize the situation but are 1-4 in last five games and head to Seattle this week.

John Lynch (Fox Sports, 25) - The bye week can't fix the problems that are ailing the Jets. A very inconsistent FB team.

Alex Marvez (Foxsports.com, 25) - It doesn't get any easier for the slumping Jets coming out of the bye starting with Sunday's game at Seattle.

Dan Pompei (Chicago Tribune, 24) - A subpar ground attack and a subpar run defense is a bad combination.
