NEW YORK (AP) Comments on the Tennessee Titans by the AP Pro32 panel (ranking in parentheses):

---

TENNESSEE TITANS (27)

Chris Berman (ESPN, 28) - Reminder of what can be.

Clifton Brown (Sporting News, 28) - Having Matt Hasselbeck as a backup quarterback is a huge bonus.

Cris Collinsworth (NBC Sports, 27)

Rich Gannon (CBS Sports/SiriusXM NFL Radio, 20) - They're better right now with Hasselbeck at QB.

Bob Glauber (Newsday, 27) - After leading the upset against the Steelers, Matt Hasselbeck gets one more start against Buffalo before Jake Locker returns from a shoulder injury.

Rick Gosselin (Dallas Morning News, 27) - RB Chris Johnson has touched the ball 108 times without a touchdown this season.

Clark Judge (CBSSports.com, 25) - It's going to take more than a defeat of Pittsburgh for me to think these guys are anything but also-rans.

Ira Kaufman (Tampa Tribune, 28) - A battered defense finally showed some pride in upsetting the Steelers.

Pat Kirwan (SiriusXM NFL Radio/CBSSports.com, 28) - The Titans said as soon as Locker is healthy he gets the starting job back. That's a hard decision considering Matt Hasselbeck just led the team to a win over the Steelers. It looks like the growing pains continue.

John Lynch (Fox Sports, 27) - A big win against Pittsburgh moves the Titans out of the cellar.

Alex Marvez (Foxsports.com, 28) - As evidenced by both of their victories against Detroit and Pittsburgh, special teams are Tennessee's biggest strength so far this season.

Dan Pompei (Chicago Tribune, 27) - It appears Chris Johnson and Kenny Britt are headed in the right direction, and that could bode very well for the Titans.
