NEW YORK (AP) Comments on the Minnesota Vikings by the AP Pro32 panel (ranking in parentheses):

---

MINNESOTA VIKINGS (18)

Chris Berman (ESPN, 17) - AP is superhuman.

Clifton Brown (Sporting News, 18) - The brilliant Adrian Peterson deserves to play on a contender again.

Cris Collinsworth (NBC Sports, 18)

Rich Gannon (CBS Sports/SiriusXM NFL Radio, 17) - They are a one-trick pony on offense with Adrian Peterson and a 32nd-ranked passing attack.

Bob Glauber (Newsday, 17) - Another vintage performance by Adrian Peterson only proves that you need big-time quarterbacking to win in this league. Christian Ponder just isn't showing that right now.

Rick Gosselin (Dallas Morning News, 17) - Adrian Peterson leads the NFL with seven individual 100-yard rushing games - and the last six have come in succession.

Clark Judge (CBSSports.com, 20) - It's not that the Vikings hit the wall; it's that they hit the schedule. It's too much for even Adrian Peterson to overcome.

Ira Kaufman (Tampa Tribune, 19) - A slow fade into the Minnesota tundra.

Pat Kirwan (SiriusXM NFL Radio/CBSSports.com, 17) - How much more can Adrian Peterson do to carry this team? Without Percy Harvin there isn't enough firepower.

John Lynch (Fox Sports, 18) - Adrian Peterson is an absolute stud. The Vikings need more like him.

Alex Marvez (Foxsports.com, 17) - Adrian Peterson looks like a lock to win another NFL rushing title. But with the way the rest of Minnesota's offense is playing, he'll have to enjoy the honor at home during the playoffs.

Dan Pompei (Chicago Tribune, 17) - They may be wasting one of the all-time great seasons by a running back.
