(Aug. 24,2011) Comcast SportsNet Mid-Atlantic, the regions leading source formultiplatform sports coverage, has announced that former NFL players BradJackson and Antonio Freeman will serve as analysts for the networks newBaltimore Ravens pregame and postgame shows, Ravens Kickoff and RavensPostgame Live, which will be hosted by veteran anchor Chris Miller and featurereporting from Brent Harris.ComcastSportsNet will present the Ravens official game-day programs throughout the2011 NFL season as part of their newly-expanded partnership. Ravens PostgameLive, a comprehensive 90-minute postgame show, will air following all regularseason and playoff games. Ravens Kickoff will air for a full hour prior toselect games, beginning with the regular-season opener against the PittsburghSteelers on Sept. 11. The exclusive shows will provide complete news, analysisand player and coach interviews, as well as reports from CSNbaltimore.comRavens Insider John Eisenberg. Thecomprehensive programs will feature analysis from two Super Bowl champions withstrong ties to the Baltimorearea. Jackson spent four seasons as an NFLlinebacker, including three for the Ravens, and helped Baltimore win Super Bowl XXXV. Freeman, anative of Baltimore who played at Virginia Tech,spent nine seasons in the NFL as a receiver from 1995 to 2003, mostly with Green Bay. He helped the Packersto a championship in Super Bowl XXXI. Jackson and Freeman are scheduled to appearon all pregame and postgame shows throughout the season.Jackson, whoserved as an analyst for the network last season, will also be featured alongsideMiller during SportsNet Central: John Harbaugh Live, which provides livecoverage of the head coachs Monday press conferences. The network will also continueto air the teams weekday shows during the regular season and playoffs. Returningto the network this year are 1 Winning Drive (Monday),Game Plan (Wednesday), Ravens Report (Thursday) and Purple Passion (Friday), with a new interview show, Ravens One-on-One (Tuesday),making its debut this season. The shows begin on Sept. 6. Theexpanded Ravens partnership gives Comcast SportsNet two comprehensive NFLpartnerships that feature exclusive pregame and postgame shows and daily teamprograms. Through their longstanding relationship with the Washington Redskins,the network will air Redskins Kickoff, Redskins Postgame Live and RedskinsNation again this season.
