The Washington Kastles will play in their fourth consecutive Mylan WTT championship final on Sunday in search of a fourth straight title.
In doing so, however, the Kastles will be playing their final match with WTT superstar Bobby Reynolds. Reynolds announced after Thursday's semifinal match that he will retire from the league after this season.
To earn a finals berth, the Kastles took care of the Philadelphia Freedoms with a score of 21-16. Reynolds led the Kastles to victory by serving out the match in overtime.
After the match he had this to say to the Kastles fans in attendance at the Smith Center:
"These past five years have hands down been the greatest five years of my life. This was my Center Court."
Reynolds leaves the Kastles after winning Rookie of the Year in 2010 and league MVP in 2012. He was also finals MVP in 2013.
