MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (AP) Marcos Knight scored 11 of his 13 points in the second half as Middle Tennessee reeled off 26 straight points to defeat Florida Atlantic 62-52 Thursday night in Sun Belt Conference action.

The Blue Raiders (13-4, 5-1), who have won six of their last seven, are 9-0 at home this season.

Middle Tennessee trailed 24-19 at the 7:26 mark when Bruce Massey's layup sparked a 16-0 run to close the first half.

Coming out of the break, Raymond Cintron's 3-pointer capped a 10-0 run that gave the Blue Raiders a 21-point lead with 16:38 remaining.

The Owls (8-9, 3-3) could get no closer than eight as they saw their two-game winning streak end.

Neiko Hunter added 12 points and Massey 10 for Middle Tennessee, which shot 50 percent (24 of 48) despite making only 2 of 13 3-pointers.

Greg Gantt's 23 points led Florida Atlantic and Stefan Moody had 18.
