MISSOULA, Mont. (AP) Montana offensive tackle Trevor Poole was arrested on a felony drug charge over the weekend after a drug task force officer reported seeing him exchange cash for a plastic baggie at a large Halloween party.
Court record say when officers approached Poole, he told them he had two ``molly'' pills in his pocket that he had purchased that night. ``Molly'' is the street name for a form of the drug ecstasy.
Poole made an initial appearance in Justice Court on Monday on a charge of criminal possession of dangerous drugs and was released on his own recognizance.
School officials say the 20-year-old sophomore from Spokane, Wash., has been suspended indefinitely. The university's student-athlete code of conduct calls for the dismissal for athletes who are convicted of a felony.
