Bethesda, Md. (Nov. 10,2011) Comcast SportsNetMid-Atlantic has announced its 186-game schedule of 2011-12 college basketball,which begins this week and features 141 mens and 45 womens games from thenations top conferences, including the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC),Colonial Athletic Association (CAA), Atlantic 10 and Pac-12.

ComcastSportsNets comprehensive mens schedule which tips-off on Tuesday, Nov. 15, whenVirginia hosts Winthrop at 7 p.m. on Comcast SportsNet Plus includes more than 50 appearances by 14 of the regions top mens programs. Areamens teams set to make multiple appearances on the network this season are Maryland, Virginia Tech, Virginia,Old Dominion, James Madison, George Mason, American, George Washington, VCU,William & Mary and Towson.
ComcastSportsNet, the regions official network of the ACC, will air 31 mens gamesfeaturing conference teams this season. The Hokies are scheduled for threegames on the network, all against ACC opponents, with the Cavaliers set to makefour appearances. The Terrapins will be featured when they host Samford on Dec.31 and Wake Forest on Jan. 11. During the season,all 12 ACC teams will appear on Comcast SportsNet, including top-ranked North Carolina.
Asthe official network of the CAA, Comcast SportsNet will present 18 mens gamesfeaturing conference programs during the 2011-12 season. Old Dominion is set tomake eight appearances on the network, with James Madison scheduled for seven,George Mason for six, VCU and William & Mary for four each and Towson with two. Thenetwork will also air six American University (PatriotLeague) and five George Washington (Atlantic 10) games this season.
Thenetworks mens schedule also includes 56 games from the Pac-12, and nine match-upsfrom both the Atlantic 10 and Conference USA. Comcast SportsNets coverageof the Pac-12 and Atlantic 10 also includes conference tournament games. Inaddition, two Southeastern Conference (SEC) mens match-ups will air on thenetwork this season, as will games from the Paradise Jam, Orange Bowl Classicand Philly Hoop Group Classic tournaments.

ComcastSportsNets coverage of womens college basketball opens on Friday, Nov. 11,when Old Dominion hosts Virginia Tech at 7 p.m. on Comcast SportsNet Plus. Thenetworks 28-game ACC womens package includes five Marylandgames and three appearances by both Virginiaand Virginia Tech. Conference coverage will also include eight ACC tournamentgames, including all four quarterfinals match-ups.
TheCAA womens basketball schedule on Comcast SportsNet this season includescoverage of several area teams, including Old Dominion, James Madison, GeorgeMason, VCU and William & Mary. In all, the network will air nine CAA womensgames, including the conferences tournament championship on March 11. Overall,the regions top womens programs will make at least 22 appearances onComcasts SportsNet this season.
