Here are some of the social highlights from the Redskins' 24-16 loss to the Eagles:

Entering hostile territory, the Redskins had their game faces on early on Sunday:

Before the opening kickoff, we wanted to know how you would describe the matchup between Alfred Morris and LeSean McCoy in just one word:

...and who you thought would be the x-factor in Sunday's matchup:

The Eagles got on the board first with a hard-fought 4-yard touchdown run by Nick Foles late in the 1st quarter:

On a 1st & 10 from the Redskins' 43, Nick Foles passed to Brent Celek who turned on the Jets and ran right through the Washington defense. He was brought down just short of the end zone, but LeSean McCoy picked up the touchdown and a 14-0 Eagles lead with a 1-yard run up the middle:

Midway through the 2nd, Connor Barwin decked Griffin and forced the ball loose. Fletcher Cox came down with the fumble recovery and the Eagles took over possession to kill the Redskins' best looking drive on the day so far:

Late in the first half, after the Eagles had picked through the Redskins defense play after play, they settled for a 24-yard Alex Henery field goal for a 17-0 lead:

At the half, the Eagles held a 17-0 lead and looked well on their way to posting their first home win since last September. What could Redskins do to stop them?

LeSean McCoy continued to pick apart the Redskins' defense in the 2nd half. He capped off another Eagles' drive with another touchdown run from just outside the end zone to extend the Philly lead to 24-0:

The Redskins killed the Eagles' shutout hopes minutes into the 4th quarter. Griffin kept a play alive with his feet and was able to find Darrel Young who took a 62-yard catch-and-run to the house. A 2-point conversation attempt was successful to Nick Williams, and the Redskins cut their deficit to 24-8:

It took them a while to get started, but the Redskins weren't done yet. On a 2nd & 1, Griffin launched a pass to the end zone and Aldrick Robinson came back to it and got his hands underneath for the touchdown catch. An RGIII run for a 2-point conversion cut the Eagles' lead further to 24-16:

After calling their final timeout, the Redskins had :40 on the clock to work with. On 3rd & 1, a pressured RGIII threw up a floater to the end zone and it was easily picked off by Brandon Boykin. After one knee from Nick Foles, the Redskins had officially handed the Eagles their first home win in 414 days with a score of 24-16:
