Here's how the Redskins got ready for Sunday's game on Twitter:

The first quarter was a puntfest, with both teams failing to get much going on offense. Neither team could even convert on a third down until the early 2nd quarter. On their first sustained drive of the game in the late 1st/early 2nd, the Giants sent out Josh Brown to attempt a 50-yarder but it hooked wide left, keeping this one scoreless.

Midway through the 2nd quarter the Redskins got a great shot to get on the board when Andre Brown coughed up the ball and Josh Wilson was in the right place at the right time to recover at the Giants' 18 yard line.

Washington was unable to find the end zone but Kai Forbath kicked a 31-yard field goal to give the Redskins a 3-0 lead.

Just a few minutes later, Eli Manning targeted Jerrel Jernigan 24 yards downfield for a go-ahead touchdown. The Giants led 7-3 with 5:21 to play in the 2nd quarter.

Inside the 2-minute warning, Josh Brown converted a 34-yard field goal to extend the Giants' lead to 10-3.

Late in the 2nd quarter, Eli Manning's pass was tipped up and Josh Wilson came up with the interception, giving the Redskins one last shot to put some more points on the board in the first half.

The Redskins were unable the find the end zone, but Kai Forbath kicked a 49-yard field goal to cut the Giants' lead to 10-6 at the half.

The next couple plays were the definition of sloppy. Alfred Morris lost the carry and the Giants recovered, but then the Giants committed their third turnover of the game with an interception by Reed Doughty after the pass from Painter bounced off Brandon Mosley's chest in the end zone.

Midway through the 3rd quarter, Justin Tuck (who had been bringing pressure all day long) got to Cousins just as he was about to throw, knocking the ball loose and allowing the Giants to recover.

Late in the 3rd quarter Kirk Cousins threw a questionable pass that was tipped up and easily picked off by Trumaine McBride.

In the final seconds of the 3rd quarter, a short dump off pass to Jerrel Jernigan combined with several missed tackles from the Redskins to give up a 49-yard touchdown catch-and-run. The Giants led 17-6 at the start of the 4th quarter.

The Giants went into clock killing mode, keeping the ball on the ground and capping off a 11-play, all-run drive with a 38-yard Josh Brown field goal to extend their lead to 20-6 with 4:53 left to play.

An interception made a fitting end to a sloppy game. Trumaine McBride made the interception (his 2nd of the day) for the Giants, sealing their 20-6 victory over the Redskins.
