OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) The Oklahoma City Thunder produced one of the most dominant first halves in NBA history Monday night, building a 64-24 halftime lead against the Charlotte Bobcats.

It was the fifth-biggest halftime lead in NBA history and the largest since Golden State set the record with an 88-41 edge on Sacramento on Nov. 2, 1991, according to STATS LLC. The Thunder franchise record for a halftime lead is 44, from the Seattle SuperSonics' 75-31 lead against Boston on Nov. 23, 1967.

That's the second-largest halftime margin in NBA history.

The Thunder shot 60 percent from the field while limiting Charlotte to 22 percent and forcing 11 turnovers.

Oklahoma City pulled its starters less than 5 minutes into the second half after the lead ballooned to 79-25.
