Though the Nationals currently hold the best record in the NL, it is the Los Angeles Dodgers who are winning hearts at the Bovada sportsbook.

According to their most updated odds, the Dodgers are second in line among World Series favorites and tops in the National League.

Here is a look at those rankings:

2014 World Series odds

Los Angeles Angels - 5/1
Los Angeles Dodgers - 11/2
Washington Nationals - 6/1
Baltimore Orioles - 7/1
Oakland Athletics - 7/1

2014 National League pennant odds

Los Angeles Dodgers - 2/1
Washington Nationals - 5/2
St. Louis Cardinals - 5/1
Milwaukee Brewers - 7/1
San Francisco Giants - 7/1

Dodgers ace Clayton Kershaw - who is set to face the Nats Tuesday night in L.A. - is also the odds-on favorite to win the NL Cy Young and MVP award. His chances are so good for a third Cy Young, in fact, they have pulled the odds from the book altogether.

The rankings were released Tuesday morning, a day after the Nats opened their series against the Dodgers with a 6-4 win. Perhaps a few more victories at Dodger Stadium will change Bovada's mind.
