Having just swept the Nationals, a series that extended their record against Washington to a remarkable 18-7 over the past two seasons, the Braves have the Nats searching for answers. In order to win the National League East, they will have to go through the Braves, and Atlanta seems to have their number.
One Braves fan, it appears, wants to kick Nationals fans while they are down. Whoever it was, they decided to do the old 'change the Wikipedia page' trick on the Nats.
Courtesy of Fox Sports South, here is what the Nationals' Wikipedia page said briefly on Tuesday under the category of 'Owner(s).'
Now, of course this isn't the most original trick in the book. Last year Rangers' goalie Henrik Lundqvist owned the Washington Capitals, according to their Wikipedia. It has been done many, many times before.
Does that make it any better for Nats fans? Probably not. It also doesn't help the teams will not see each other until June 19. Until the Nationals get another chance at the Braves, their fans will have plenty of time to rub it in.
