The Washington Nationals are looking for a new in-game host, someone to emcee their daily Inside Pitch Live broadcast from Nats Park for home games. If you are a baseball fan with any experience hosting events or shows, this could be a great opportunity.

Here is what they are seeking:

"The Nationals are looking for an energetic and engaging individual with a background in broadcasting, someone who will strive to enhance the ballpark experience for fans at Nationals Park in a fun, creative and clever way. He or she must be comfortable in front of the camera, and be able to commit to all 81 home games while maintaining a flexible schedule throughout the season for events associated with the team and its partners."

The team issued a press release on the opening with a few requirements for potential applicants. You have to be at least 21 years old, have "extensive on-camera experience" and know baseball.

The host generally interviews fans and directs games and contests on the big screen at Nats Park before first pitch. Whoever it is must keep beat writers entertained while they write their pregame stories… as well as fans who show up to watch batting practice.

The deadline to apply is Dec. 4 so head here for more information.
