The Nationals have re-signed veteran starting pitcher Ryan Tatusko to a minor league deal, keeping him in the organization for the fourth consecutive season.
Tatusko, 28, split 2013 with Harrisburg and Syracuse, compiling a 4.09 ERA across 29 appearances. He started 19 games - 18 of them at Syracuse - and struck out 104 batters in 127 2/3 total innings.
The former 18th round pick of the Texas Rangers has played seven minor league seasons without yet reaching the majors. Last year was his second stint in Triple-A after playing with Syracuse in 2011.
MLB.com first reported the news on Monday and Tatusko later tweeted his excitement about the move.
