Williams: Nats want to make amends for 2013

Majestic, the official uniform provider of Major League Baseball, sent out a tweet on Tuesday showing a preview of the Nationals' new batting practice jerseys for the 2014 season. The Nats get new ones each year and wear them through spring training and during the season prior to games.

It's a cropped photo designed not to show the entire jersey, but here's a look:


From what we can see, the jerseys don't look much different than the ones they used last year (as seen in the photo above). The trim on the sleeves may be new, but the design overall is similar. They'll probably tell us all about the specific changes when the full release comes out.

It will also be interesting to see what the batting practice hats look like. Last season the Nats went with a retro look that became very popular among fans.
