WORLD SERIES GAME 2: ST. LOUIS CARDINALS AT BOSTON RED SOX

Where: Fenway Park, Boston, MA
Gametime: 7:30 p.m.
TV: FOX
Radio: ESPN Radio
Weather: Clear, 47 degrees, wind 16 mph
Starting pitchers: STL – Michael Wacha (4-1, 2.78)) / BOS – John Lackey (10-13, 3.52)

The Cardinals and Red Sox entered Wednesday’s Game 1 billed as two teams so close in talent it was nearly impossible to call a winner. So, naturally, the game ended in a blowout and now St. Louis will turn to a rookie pitcher to prevent an 0-2 deficit before they head home for Games 3 and 4.

That rookie, however, is not your average youngster. Michael Wacha has been the most dominant pitcher of any this postseason and has a major opportunity to cement his legend as a star of October. Tonight the 22-year-old will take the mound at Fenway Park in the World Series just a day after his counterpart Adam Wainwright got blasted for five runs (three earned) in the second worst outing of his playoff career. Can he get the Cardinals back on track?
