Nationals Talk

The Nationals have signed Dan Uggla to a minor-league deal and will give the one-time slugging second baseman a chance to re-establish himself this spring.

The Nationals' 10th straight win, which tied a club record and left Matt Williams to promise he would do his Babe Ruth impersonation, is No. 6 on our countdown of Significant Moments of 2014.

Jimmy Rollins - now with the Los Angeles Dodgers - looked back on the "hole" Jayson Werth left in the Phillies lineup after he signed with the Nats.

Matt Williams' controversial decision to bench Bryce Harper for not running out an April 19 groundball was the 7th most-significant moment of 2014 for the Nationals.

Significant moment No. 8 of the year came on the final day of the regular season, when Denard Span set a new Nationals record with his 184th hit.
