Nationals Talk

New York finished off a sweep of Washington on Sunday night. And it was a former National who slammed the door on the way out.

Following another one-run loss to the Mets, the Nationals now enter Sunday night hoping to avoid a three-game sweep.

The Nationals lost to the Mets, who have proven quite the formidable matchup. Joe Ross, however, was impressive again.

Lucas Duda homered twice and hit a tiebreaking double in the seventh inning leading the Mets to a come-from-behind 3-2 win to pull within one game of the Nationals.

Yoenis Cespedes will play his first game with the New York Mets, as the Nats hope to even up their series in New York.
