Jayson Werth delivered the game-tying single in the 9th, and Ian Desmond delivered the 11th-inning grand slam that gave the Nats a 6-2 victory in Philadelphia.
The Nationals needed extra-innings, but pulled out a comeback 6-2 win over the Phillies thanks to a grand slam from Ian Desmond.
Bryce Harper will begin baseball activities in the next day or two, moving the Nationals outfielder closer to a return from the DL.
