All-Star starter John Wall has a nice ring to it. However, it will take a miracle for the Wizards point guard to receive that honor this season following the latest round of voting.

Wall remains fourth among Eastern Conference guards behind projected starters Dwayne Wade and Kyrie Irving followed by the injured Derrick Rose.

With 278,516 votes, Wall trails Irving by 374,006 votes. The gap was over 313,000 when the NBA previously released an update on December 26. Balloting closes Jan. 20 and the starters will be announced three days later on TNT at 7 p.m. ET. The game will be played in New Orleans on Feb. 16.

Wall can still be part of the squad as a reserve if selected by a vote among coaches and league executives.

For comparison:

Wall: 19.7 points, 8.7 assists, 4.1 rebounds

Irving: 22.0 points, 6.1 assists, 2.9 rebounds

Here's a look at the entire All-Star balloting with projected starters in bold:
