Wizards dealing with injuries early in training camp
FAIRFAX, Va. -- Trevor Ariza returned to practice Wednesday after sitting out with a sore left calf, but Otto Porter and Trevor Booker still have yet to take the floor.
"Got back, went full," coach Randy Wittman said of Ariza. "That was a positive."
Porter (hip flexor) and Booker (knee) didn't practice in any of the five days of training camp that wrapped up at George Mason University.
"We had three great days. (Tuesday) was a down day for us," said Wittman, who added that fatigue had begun to kick in. "Today they bounced back. . .It was a solid five days, a good start for us."
The Wizards are off Thursday but will return to action at the Verizon Center as they get ready for the exhibition season.
