Beal could return against Knicks
NEW YORK -- Bradley Beal said he will try to play for the first time since Nov. 23 when the Wizards face the New York Knicks here Monday night (CSN, 7:30).
Beal, who last played vs. the Knicks at Verizon Center, practiced fully for the first time since he was cleared a week ago to resume basketball-related activities and practiced Monday morning with the first team.
The small bone in his lower right leg, which showed a stress reaction that is a precursor to a season-ending fracture, will evaluated by team doctors again. If there's no soreness, Beal will likely play.
Nene practiced some with his sore right foot and Achilles and is less likely to play. He will be a game-time decision.
Wizards might be getting back Bradley Beal tonight depending on his pregame warm up. They need their leading scorer back. #WizardsTalk— Chris Miller (@cmillscsn) December 16, 2013
