Bradley Beal, after playing his third game in a row with a 34-minute restriction, will have time to compete in the Three-Point Shootout on All-Star Weekend, he confirmed Thursday.

"You actually have to practice. You can't just go in blind. It's totally different," said Beal, who competed in a three-point contest at the McDonald's All-American Game. "You see the time up there you feel rushed. You shouldn't feel that way. You see that clock ticking."

Beal already is competing in the Rising Stars Challenge with rookie and second-year players.

There was concern that Beal, who developed a second stress injury to his lower right leg in eight months in November, could risk further damage. But he talked with doctors since a double overtime loss to the San Antonio Spurs on Wednesday.
