Bradley Beal returns for Wizards versus Knicks

Washington Wizards head coach Randy Wittman talks with Wizards shooting guard Bradley Beal against the Brooklyn Nets in the second quarter at Verizon Center.

After missing more than two weeks with a stress injury in his right leg, Bradley Beal is set to return to the Wizards starting lineup tonight, according to CSN Washington's J. Michael.

Beal leads the Wizards in scoring at 20 points per game and his return could be a big boost for a Washington team on a four-game losing streak. Tune in to CSN at 7 pm to watch Beal's return.

"I think Bradley will be available for some minutes tonight," Wizards coach Randy Wittman told CSN Washington Monday.

Oddly, Beal last played against the Knicks in November, the same opponent the Wizards face tonight. In that game, Beal played 40 minutes and scored 18 points in a 98-89 Wizards win.

Brazilian big man Nene has missed three games in a row for the Wiz, and is getting close to returning.

"I think he's close," Wittman said of Nene. "I hope maybe Wednesday."
