LAS VEGAS Initial reaction following the Wizards 85-78 loss to the NBA D-League Select team on Sunday nightThree in three: Dealing with the tired legs that comes with playing three games in three days and facing a D-League squad making its summer league debut, the Wizards started slow and appeared fatigued much of the second half. After a dominant second quarter put them up 37-28 at halftime, the sleepy Wizards were outscored by 18 in the third. The three-guard lineup of Bradley Beal, Shelvin Mack and Earl Calloway woke up in time for a late offensive push that pulled Washington within four, but no closer. Not an excuse, just a fact, especially when the team wants its primary options on the court.Stats: Beal scored20 points, once again pacing the Wizards scorers, though his accuracy from deep never materialized. Playing frequently off the ball and overcoming a turnover-heavy start, Mack tacked on 14 points. More coming shortly...
