People wear jerseys of famous athletes - even other athletes. Therefore we're not remotely making a big deal or making any judgement's about John Wall's recent attire. We're simply keeping tabs on the Wizards' point guard during the off-season.

You at home can decide if the fashion choices are winning or perhaps a little odd

On Saturday, Wall posted a picture with his mother, Frances Pulley, wishing his "superhero" a happy birthday.  He did so wearing a throwback Indiana Pacers jersey, Jalen Rose's No.5 it appears. You may recall the Wizards were bounced from the NBA playoffs last month by the Pacers.

More importantly, Ms. Pulley, who was hospitalized for a time in February with fluid on her lungs, is all smiles.

Earlier this month Wall attended former teammate Nick Young's birthday and did so wearing a Steve Smith Atlanta Hawks No 8 jersey. The Wizards and Hawks play in the Southeast division and nearly met in the playoffs this year.

Again, this is a no harm, no foul situation, though it would be interesting to gauge other NBAers as to whether they would wear jerseys - even throwbacks - of a rival team. Just a hunch but Kobe Bryant

Anyway, since we're looking at pictures of John Wall, this one is most interesting to me as someone who rates former NBA star Kenny Anderson as the best high school hoops player I've seen, live anyway.

Another picture posted by Anderson shows the two point guards had some company. Not sure where this barber shop is located - though Im guessing New York based on Wall's recent postings - but that's (going clockwise) Anderson with Wall, Toronto Blue Jays shortstop Jose Reyes and his teammate, Jose Bautista.

You want more? Fine, here's Wall with a group including former mixed martial arts star Chuck Liddell at a promotion for the latest UFC video game.

Nope, no jerseys of any kind in the last three pics. Not that it would matter, much, if that's what Wall chose to wear. Who are we to judge.

But, it's still a little odd, right?
