On this holiday weekend, we labor just a little - and without complaint - to check in on the headlines around the NBA...

*John Wall received his extension. Same for Bucks center Larry Sanders. So, what about the other members of the 2010 Draft class? ProBasketballTalk.com looks at the other top-15 selections from that draft. Paul George, no-brainer. Evan Turner, keep dreaming. It's interesting that Greg Monroe is not a lock for a new deal this year, though the Pistons may have boxed themselves into a financially strapped corner on this one.

*Greivis Vasquez, another member of the 2010 draft class, pulled out of the FIBA Americas tournament as he recovers from ankle surgery. The ex-Terp landed with the Sacramento Kings this offseason and is in line for his own contract extension. (SLAM)

*The Lamar Odom saga gets sadder by the minute. The veteran forward, who played with the Clippers last season, was arrested for DUI on Friday morning. This comes amid rumors of substance abuse and marital woes. (CBS Sports)

*Memphis waived Fab Melo just two weeks after acquiring the former Syracuse product from the Celtics. I recall some bummed that the Wizards didn't acquire Melo in the Jordan Crawford deal. Never mind.

*New Clipper Antawn Jamison talks lack of trust between former teammates Kobe Bryant and Dwight Howard.

*Jeremy Lin holding a panda bear. Of course you're looking at this. (CBS Sports)
