Otto Porter nearing Wizards debut

Otto Porter will be a game-time decision Friday when the Washington Wizards play the Milwaukee Bucks at Verizon Center (CSN, 7 p.m. ET).

He practiced again Thursday, his first set of back-to-back sessions since he strained his right hip flexor Sept. 13.

"He had another good day today. Well again re-evaluate him tomorrow," Wittman said after a 90-minute session. "It's a process each day to see how he gets through the physical things he has done."

Porter, the No. 3 overall draft pick in June, could be put on the active roster Friday but it doesn't mean he will play.

It's likely, however, that Wittman would try to find him a few minutes to acclimate him to game speed. The Wizards' bench has yet to produce consistently.
