John Wall's Top 5 plays of the week 1-20

That's not the way the Wizards wanted to end their five-game road trip.

With a chance to return home with a winning record on their west coast trek, the Wizards instead let Utah jump out to an insurmountable 22-point first half lead as the Jazz would hang on for a 92-88 victory.

Wizards guard John Wall continued to come off the bench, scoring 14 points and dishing out seven assists in 27 minutes of play against the Jazz. Martell Webster had a game-high 15 points and Emeka Okafor had 17 rebounds in the loss.

So the Wizards go 2-3 on the trip and still sport a league worst 9-31 record, 3-18 on the road, but Wizards coach Randy Wittman was upbeat following the loss.

"A good trip," Wittman told reporters after the Jazz game. "Our last eight games we have built a good solid round of basketball and now we’ve got to continue to build on it."

The Wizards return to D.C. to begin a three-game home stand and it starts Friday night versus Minnesota.
