Ty Lawson's latest homecoming, not to mention a battle with John Wall, will have to wait.

The All-Star caliber point guard is expected to miss Monday's game against the Wizards at the Verizon Center with an injured hamstring, the Denver Post reported.

The Clinton native and former Bishop McNamara star sat out Denver's 103-92 win at Philadelphia on Saturday, replaced in the starting lineup by veteran Andre Miller.

Lawson is averaging 19.3 points and 8.0 assists. He averaged 28 points in two games against the Wizards last season, both won by Washington.

The Nuggets are also without ex-Wizard JaVale McGee, who has been out since early November with a stress fracture in his tibia.
