Now that the Wizards have Al Harrington back and have added Drew Gooden to the roster, they've sent rookie Glen Rice back to the D-League for re-assignment with the Iowa Energy.

This is the second time Rice, who hasn't appeared in a game for the Wizards since Dec. 14, has been sent to Iowa. After he had right wrist surgery in December, he spent three games there to rehabilitate his shooting hand. He averaged 24.3 points, 10.3 rebounds, 2.0 steals and 2.7 blocks in 36 minutes there.

Rice has appeared in 11 games for Washington, averaging 2.9 points in 10 minutes per game.

The Wizards (29-28) only can have 12 of their 15 players on the active roster and there's no room for Rice, a 6-5 shooting guard, in the rotation.

Fellow rookie Otto Porter has played sparingly, too, behind Trevor Ariza and Martell Webster.
