Undefeated week leads to honor for John Wall

John Wall has been named Eastern Conference Player of the Week after leading the Wizards (31-28) to an undefeated run Feb. 24-March 2, beating out teammates Trevor Ariza and Marcin Gortat for the honor.

Wall posted 25 points, 10.7 assists and 2 steals in the three games. He also shot 59.2% (29 of 49) from the field and 81.3 (13 of 16) from the foul line.

He tallied 17 points and handed out 16 assists on March 1, during a 122-103 win over the Philadelphia 76ers.

James Harden (Houston Rockets) earned Player of the Week for the West.

Wall had a high of 31 points in a comeback, triple-overtime win at the Toronto Raptors and 16 assists, tying a career high, at the Philadelphia 76ers.
