Jan Vesely is in D.C. right now as part of the Wizards summer league, gearing up for games in Las Vegas starting later this week. Based on his Twitter, Instagram and Vine feeds, we know that the 6-foot-11 forward has spent a good chunk of his off-season training in Southern California. Based on his first two largely trying seasons in the NBA, we know the importance of the upcoming season, which in some way for the No. 6 overall pick in 2011 starts with Summer League.
Perhaps we'll find out how much his sketchy shot or physical strength have improved watching him in semi-real games. Watching this all Vesely, all the time Vine the Wizards' 2011 first round pick released, it's clear he's well versed at this video medium.
By the way, look at Vesely's shooting form. Pretty good, right? From a layman's perspective, that's never been the issue. I've watched Vesely sink 10 straight free throws in practice, but we all witnessed him shoot an unsightly 30.8 percent from the line last season. We'll see if the being part of the So Cal scene helped any with his missing piece, confidence.
