If Noel falls to the Wizards, should they take him?
As CSN Washington reported three weeks ago, John Wall and Bradley Beal of the Wizards will compete at USA Basketball Men’s National Team mini-camp in Las Vegas. It was made official Wednesday.
The camp is July 22-25, coming on the heels of the NBA’s summer league, also in Las Vegas from July 12-22.
“It is a privilege to return to USA Basketball as a participant in the 2013 Men’s National Team mini-camp,” Wall said in a statement from the Wizards. “I have gained great experience and grown from my previous stints with USA Basketball and hope to continue in the program moving forward.”
Beal played for the 2010 U17 World Championship and 2009 U16 Championship teams. Wall played for the 2012 USA Men’s Select Team.
Duke coach Mike Krzyzewski will be in charge of the camp, which will feature young NBA talent who will be part of the program's future, and will have assistants Jim Boeheim (Syracuse), Tom Thibodeau (Chicago Bulls) and Monty Williams (New Orleans Pelicans).
