Martell Webster went through non-contact drills Thursday, the day after he missed his third game of the season with a sore back. There's a chance he could play vs. the Utah Jazz on Wednesday but Kevin Seraphin didn't practice and will be out.

"A step forward," coach Randy Wittman said of Webster, who was injured in a fall in Philadelphia on Saturday. "I think Martell's got a chance."

Seraphin will miss his fifth consecutive game because of right knee soreness that has nagged him all season.

Seraphin had had swelling and is listed as day-to-day. He told CSN Washington that he doesn't believe it is serious enough to require off-season surgery.
