The first group of players, mostly long shots, attending individual pre-draft workouts for the Wizards is set for Monday at Verizon Center.
CSN Washington reported Thursday that the process would begin and listed some of the more notable players to come in next week, but none would be lottery-caliber players.
The team announced that Monday’s workout will feature guards Tyler Brown (Illinois State), Rotnei Clarke (Butler), Miguel Paul (East Carolina) and Angelo Sharpless (Elizabeth City) and centers Gregory Echenique (Creighton) and Ehimen Orukpe (Wichita State).
None of these players was invited to the NBA's pre-draft workouts in Chicago two weeks ago, where the Wizards interviewed a lot of potential lottery picks.
The Wizards, who are picking third overall, also have two second-round picks at 38 and 54.
