The Wizards get a shot tonight at a Kings team they felt like they should have beaten 12 days ago in Sacramento. Sacramento won, 95-94, as the Wizards missed two potential game-winning shots before the buzzer sounded. That game started Washington's five- game road trip on which the team went 2-3.

Wizards rookie shooting guard Bradley Beal had a career-high 26 points in the loss to the Kings, but he missed a jumper with 2.9 seconds left that would have won the game. John Wall got the rebound off the Beal miss, but his put-back shot fell short as well. Wall earlier had a chance to put the Wizards up two, but he missed two free throws with 30 seconds left.

"I'm not taking any credit from them, but I just felt like we gave the game away," Wall told reporters after the game.

Since that Kings loss, the Wizards' record is 4-2, and they are easily playing their best basketball of the season. Washington dominated Chicago, 86-73, on Saturday night in what was perhaps its best game of the season.

On paper, the Wizards should win easily tonight and exact revenge.

"We can't make a story out of it before it happens,” Wiz guard Jordan Crawford wisely said. "We'll see where it takes us. Just try to get as many wins as we can."
