Upon first glance, players in the World Cup and players in the nation's capital may seem to have little in common.
The former suits up for a country, while the latter suits up for a city. Furthermore, a player in the World Cup is only guaranteed three games, while many players in the nation's capital may play that many in a given week. However, upon further review, a few World Cup players share some very interesting parallels with a slew of DC's most notable stars.
From Neymar and Bryce Harper's unlimited potential to Lionel Messi and John Wall's ball handling prowess, one can make some pretty clear connections between these two seemingly very different groups.
