Today the MLS announced that D.C.United midfielder Dwayne De Rosario was selected to the All-Star First XI byfans who voted through text messages, online votes at MLSsoccer.com, andTwitter.Under the direction of his ownD.C. United coach Ben Olsen, De Rosario will join the other MLS All-Starsas they face off against Chelsea FC at 8:30 p.m. on July 25th. Thegame will be broadcast live on ESPN2, TeleFutura, and in Canada on TSN and RDS.Thisselection marks the seventh time De Rosario has been named to an MLS All-Starsquad, adding to an extremely impressive list of accomplishments for one of themost decorated players in MLS history. Along with seven MLS All-Starselections, De Rosario boasts four MLS Cups, two MLS Cup MVP awards, and an MLSMVP award.Itsa huge honor to represent this League, represent D.C. United and representmyself, said Dwayne De Rosario. Its a tribute to those guys in the lockerroom here at D.C. United, the coaching staff, and the whole D.C.
