Midfielder Marcelo Saragosa will miss the next four to six weeks after undergoing successful surgery to "remove a loose body from the medial joint line" in his right knee, the team announced Wednesday.
Saragosa, a 31-year-old native of Brazil, is entering his ninth season in the MLS. He has played in nine matches with United this season, including three starts. In that time, he played 320 minutes. Last season, he scored one goal and had one assist in 1,120 minutes.
