D.C. United will run into a sort of “friendly” passion Saturday night when it challenges Kansas City on the road with a chance to move into first place with a win.


It was not the easy night at the office that United might have hoped for, but it was mission accomplished .


D.C. United’s mission statement from the beginning in 1996 was to win titles in league play and beyond.


D.C. United coach Ben Olson didn't see Rolfe near Kemp on his cross, but was happy to see him grab his second assist of the game.
